Lake Trout
We specialize in casting and jigging for lake trout (also known as mackinaw) in the Sierra Nevadas. Learn how to target these hard fighting members of the char family with bass fishing gear and with techniques such as strolling minnows, swimbaits and glidebaits.
Lake trout trips are available year-round.
Crappie
We chase crappie in the late fall through early spring.
Mixed Bag Trips
Want variety? We can setup a day for you to target several species at once. Mix your trip up with smallmouth fishing in the morning, lake trout during the day, then back to smallmouth in the afternoon. The choice is yours.

Our Guiding Principles
Hands-On Experience
With Emberline Adventures, we want you to have a 100% hands on experience. We want our clients to cast, reel, feel the bite and fight your fish. This does require a working knowledge of how to cast both spinning and baitcast tackle. Need a hand? Just let us know and we'll gladly provide a tutorial at the beginning of your trip.
Emphasis on Innovation
We pride ourselves in offering the latest tackle, techniques and electronics. Need a day to learn about a new fishing style? Do you want to dial in your electronics? Contact us.
Pricing
Full Day Trips are 275.00 for one angler or 500.00 for two anglers.
Half Day Trips are available upon request. Contact us for details.
A 100.00 deposit may be required at the time of booking and the balance of your trip is due on your trip date. You may also pay for your trip in full at the time of booking.
We accept all major forms of payment including Google Pay, Apple Pay and Paypal.
A full refund of the deposit will be issued for cancellations made seven days before a trip.
Cancellations due to weather? We'll work with you to find an alternate date!
